Jesse designed the rear facade of the home with a similar sentiment for historic accuracy in mind. However, he included far larger window openings that support an indoor/outdoor connection to a simply yet beautifully designed backyard entertainment space. A limestone clad loggia supports a covered and heated dining and lounge area, as well as a second floor terrace accessible through the principle ensuite. The swimming and tanning areas are similarly clad in limestone block, creating a continuously luxurious environment throughout the rear landscaping plan. Typically Jesse includes a long and diverse list of selections in his planting plan, but in this case he kept it very simple, letting the exterior of the home’s masonry details do the work. To compliment this Jesse included hydrangeas lining the elegant yet simple boxwood features.
